New York State Police Collective Bargaining Agreement

To promote a spirit of friendship among all police officers and to assist them in all ways that are not contrary to the statutes of this association and which do not suffer from them, and to provide assistance, assistance and assistance to police officers and police organizations whenever possible; Descriptions of bargaining units within the University:Employees of the New York Executive Branch are attached to a bargaining unit or called managers/confidentials. Below is a brief description of the management/confidential group and each of the bargaining units at the university with a link to the current bargain agreement. This unit, represented by Council 82, AFSCME, AFL-CIO, is made up of certain police personnel responsible for the protection of the environment, the park, recreation and the conservation of historic monuments and the State University of New York. The titles of this unit include: the Environmental Protection Officer, Park Patrol Officer, Responsible for Environmental Protection I and II, Environmental Protection Supervisor, University I and II Police Officers, University Police Inspector I and II and Forest Guardians I and II.C82 ALES: Agency Law Enforcement Services (ALES)State University Professional Services Negotiating Unit – (PSNU) The Professional Services Negotiation Unit is represented by professional professors at the University of the United States .U. In 2011, after a long period of discontent with their former union, several members of the bargaining unit took steps to become an independent PBA. A majority of ALES members applied to the New York State Public Employees Relations Board (PERB) to authorize the New York State PBA to represent them in areas ranging from contract negotiations to legislative issues to local complaint management. After seeing a concerted independence campaign through a determined management team and an almost unanimous number of members, the current union decided to step aside and not challenge the desert. On August 19, 2011, the NYS PBA was recognized as an exclusive trading partner of the PBA by the New York Public Employment Relations Board. Refers to the collective agreement between the State of New York and the benevolent police association of the New York State Troopers, Inc. The Governor`s Office of Employee Relations (GOER) acts as the governor`s agent in negotiating collective agreements with unions representing employees of state executive agencies, including employees of New York State University (University).
